I need some good book recommendations. I put a few random ones of my own on my writing blog, but I've hit a lull and need some suggestions. Go check mine out and leave me with some of yours.
I just finished a book called The Hangman's Daughter by Oliver Potzch. Historical fiction.A compassionate executioner shunned by society but revered for the service he provides. Fascinating to experience Bavaria in the 1660's. The back story is fun too. The author looked into his family tree and learned that he came from a long line of revered/nefarious executioners. So he fictionalized his ancestor's life and wrote a novel. If you're into historical fiction, it's great. Also, I have really truly enjoyed The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. The BEST, most heart-wrenching love triangle ever written. With an awesome bromance to boot.
